History
Haven HealthCare was founded by nurses as Haven Home Health in 2001. The founders had combined experience of more than 30 years in home care and were committed to delivering quality patient care and maintaining high customer satisfaction to families throughout the Salt Lake City region. As the agency developed, hospice for end-of-life care was added to the services offered, and Haven Hospice was licensed in 2004. In 2006, Haven Private Duty for non-medical home care was licensed so that the entire care continuum of home care services was available to our patients.
From our headquarters in Murray, Utah, we expanded with an additional branch office in Layton to serve families in the Ogden area, and a third office in Provo. In 2012, Haven added BridgePoint, a palliative care program for those patients in need of symptom management for chronic diseases. We are now an affiliate of Kindred at Home, a nationally established provider of home care services.
